Kaelthas Stormbane was once a noble paladin, a shield of hope and faith in the cursed land of Ashen Skies. Born into a lineage of warriors, he dedicated his life to the eternal fight against the encroaching darkness. However, in a moment of treachery, he was betrayed by his closest companion, a dark sorcerer named Malakar, during a crucial battle against a malignant entity known as the Twilight Serpent. Framed for the deaths of countless innocents, Kaelthas fell from grace, exiled, and left for dead. In his darkest hour, the forgotten deity of redemption, Elara, intervened, resurrecting him and bestowing upon him the power of divine redemption in exchange for a vow to seek atonement. Now, he wanders the desolate territories of Ashen Skies, burdened by his past but driven by a fierce desire to reclaim his honor and purge the evil that sought to consume his world.
