The Log
The Log is where you write about your world day to day: session recaps, travel notes, lore you thought of in the shower. Each day gets one entry.
Writing an entry
Every day you get a fresh writing prompt to respond to, or ignore and write whatever you want instead. If a prompt isn't sparking anything, Creator and Studio plans can reroll it for a new one.
Lore awareness
As you write, The Log recognizes the names of your world's characters, locations, events, groups, and objects and links them automatically. See World Building Core for what those types are. No tagging syntax, no manual linking. Just write the name.
If you mention a name that doesn't match anything in your world yet, The Log flags it and lets you turn it into a real world object on the spot, without leaving the page.
Chronicle
Chronicle is the running history of everything you've logged, newest first, with every recognized name linked to the object it points to.
Those links run both ways. A character, location, event, group, or object's own page shows every log entry that mentions it, in order. Write enough entries and each one builds its own history without any extra work from you.
Entries you write before signing in are kept on your device and transfer to your account automatically the first time you sign in.
